Your first ₹1 test
Create a test QR code and confirm your setup with a real ₹1 payment.
Create your test QR
On the "Test with ₹1" step, select "Create ₹1 test QR". UPINOW makes a payment link to your own UPI ID for a little over ₹1: the extra paise are what makes this test payment unique, so it can be matched to this QR and nothing else.
Pay it
Pay the exact amount shown, including the paise. On a phone, use "Pay with any UPI app on this phone" to jump straight into a UPI app. The money goes to your own bank account, nothing is lost.
While you wait, the screen reads: "Waiting for payment. The PAID stamp appears the moment the bank alert arrives."
It expires in 5 minutes
The QR lasts 5 minutes. If it expires before you pay, select "Create a new QR" and try again.
All set
Once your bank's alert lands, you'll see the PAID stamp. Select "Go to dashboard" to finish setup.
If nothing happens for a few minutes, see Troubleshooting.
Testing a second UPI account
If you add more UPI accounts later, each one gets its own "Test with ₹1" button on its own page under Settings, UPI accounts. It works the same way: a payment link to that account's own UPI ID, confirmed by that account's own connected Gmail. You can run it up to 5 times a day per account, and like the first test, it is never blocked by your plan's collection limit.
